Kakuda Movie Review

Movie Review

I don’t know why I am reviewing it because neither is it hyped, nor is there any Let me see. Do you know why I have watched this movie? The first reason is Riteish Deshmukh in something new avatar yaar. Look at the styling, the guy’s pure new look and it looked great in the trailer. You will be impressed by her look in the movie also. The second big region is Aditya Sarpotdar. He has directed the Marathi film Dombivali and recently released film Munja.

People are also liking And Munja. The movie has earned 100 crores, yet it is still in the theatre, so think why not watch Kaku. But after watching it came to know why it has been released on OTT. That too neither on Netflix, nor on Prime, nor on Hotstar. straight pipe. Do you understand? Look at the rest friend. When comedy is mixed with horror, it leaves an impact somewhere. Take a look. Go Goa Gone or Moon or Bhediya, Bhool Bhulaiyaa Phone, Bhoot, all the films have done well.

But man, there is neither comedy nor horror in this film. Horror is so childish, what can I say? Let it go, I won’t give any spoilers. If you want to watch the movie, it is a fictional place. By the way, it is also being said that this movie is also inspired by folklore. There is a village named Kaku, where every house has two doors. It is necessary to open one small, one big and small door every Tuesday at exactly 07:15 pm. Why is that necessary and what happens if the door is not opened? You will get to see that in the movie only. I won’t even stop.

You should see this by watching this movie. It’s Totally Your Choice. If you want to pass time then you can definitely watch it, but watch it after closing your heart, mind, kidneys and lungs. Then you might enjoy it. And if you are enjoying watching this movie then your heart and mind are already closed. It remains for you to understand, friend. Even if the storyline is fictional or full of fantasy, it should be made in such a way that it seems real.

It seemed as if I was watching a spoof of some other movie. Hey, it is still fun in spoof comedy. Had Ritesh Bhai not been there, I probably wouldn’t have even looked at it. Yes, you will get Sonakshi’s twist for the sake of twist. But that too does not seem relatable that even if he had not added a twist, nothing would have gone wrong.

This movie is one hour and 56 minutes long, which according to me could have been done in one and a half hour because they have nothing impressive to say in this movie. Decent comedy, decent horror which makes it a below average movie.

Anyway, see you again with the powerful explanation of the new movie.
